A subject you have enjoyed studying this year
During this second semester in my first year of university I have had to take the class called hunter-gatherers which has generated great interest for me, as it is one of the most different classes in relation to the rest, as well as being one of the classes that is most directed towards the specialty that I would like to take. In this class we see mainly the hunter-gatherer lifestyle and its characteristics. Something that also characterizes this course in my opinion is the importance given by the teacher to remove prejudices regarding this lifestyle. The topics we have mainly studied have been their social organization which was mainly composed of bands, lithics and tools they used, the domestication of both plants and animals, the perspective with which they see the world and one of the most interesting and controversial topics: American settlement.
